The March 14, 2007 ACG Cincinnati Luncheon will
feature Eddie Lehner, Executive Vice President and CFO of SeverCorr
presenting, "Raising $900 Million to Build a Steel
Company". The event will be held jointly with the Greater
Cincinnati Venture Association (GCVA) and promises to have unbelievable
networking opportunities available.Mr. Lehner holds a Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati as well as his CPA license. From 1989 to 1992 he worked for Deloitte & Touche in Cincinnati and began his career in steel as financial and operations analyst for Nucor Corporation in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1994 he was promoted and held the positions of group controller for Nucor Building System in Waterloo, Indiana and Nucor Building Systems based in Swansea, South Carolina. In 1998 he joined Nucor Steel's Berkeley, South Carolina operation as Supply Chain and Distribution Manager. In 2001 he was elected Vice President and General Manager of Birmingham Steel's Seattle Division with full P&L responsibility. From 2002 thru 2003 he was the Vice President and General Manager of Laurel Steel's $200 million Cold Finish and Wire Rod Plant in Burlington, Ontario. He joined the Steelcorr/SeverCorr venture team in January of 2004 as Chief Financial Officer and hasn't looked back.
