Association for Corporate Growth Cincinnati has established the ACG Cincinnati Cup, a highly realistic private equity/investment banking case study contest that will present a total of $8500.00 in awards for the 2010 Competition to three winning teams of MBA students representing some of the top MBA programs in the greater Cincinnati area. Competing teams will be drawn from three leading greater Cincinnati business schools: Miami University Richard T. Farmer School of Business; University of Cincinnati’s College of Business and Xavier University Williams College of Business.
The contest, which is open exclusively to masters’ level students attending the three universities, will start with first-round competitions to be held on-campus at each school. Each team will analyze and present their solutions and recommendations to a complex business case that requires a combination of corporate strategy, finance and valuation skills.
The top team from each school's first-round contest will then move into the ACG Cincinnati Cup finals to be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Kingsgate Marriott, University of Cincinnati. The finals will be followed by a free congratulatory reception and presentation of the Cup.
